“...Behold! The Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world." John 1:29
January 1st for everyone means the beginning of a new year, except for many at Mt. View, it means play time. What I mean is it is the beginning of our Easter season.
I’ve been blessed to be a part of this production from the very beginning.
A van ride home from a concert, with our small youth group and a hand full of adults, the Watch the Lamb play was birthed. That was over thirty years ago. With folding card tables, red Dixie cups and bathrobes from W.T. Grant. Most importantly there was a fire burning in these youth to tell the story of Jesus.

Over the years in has grown from a simple play to huge production, but the thing that has never changed is the fire that burns to tell the story of our Lord and Savior Jesus. When I watch this come together each year I think of a huge box of crayons. Some are new, some used, and some broken, but all of them in the master’s hand paint a beautiful picture. Someone once told me if it was for Jesus it had to be the better. May God be with us and the Holy Spirit guide us.
“And looking at them, Jesus said, “With people this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.”” Matthew 19:26
Come join us and “Watch the Lamb”
